Number fill

Dan

To anyone: help!

I created a list in Excel, which I used
the "fill. .down" function to number each row. I want to
do some sorting BUT retain the original number for each
row. How do I do that?

Thanks, Dan

If you want to include the row number with your data just
highlight the complete row to include all you data then
goto DATA > SORT and select which column to sort by, If
you don't want to include the row number select ALL your
information by selecting (example) B1:H50 and then goto
DATA > SORT and sort your information.
