Number Formatting

Susan

What would cause a worksheet suddenly change the number
formats? The number is typed as 55 and it appears as 5.5,
no matter what formatting you use. It will even do this
on blank worksheets. It had not done this before. Need
help. Might have to redo the whole file.

The entries you have already made will not change.

Enter 10 in an an unused cell. Copy. Select range of cells and Paste
Special>Multiply>OK>Esc. Clear the 10 from the cell.
