Number of Installations Permitted by the License Agreement Exceede

I just went to the preferences and I tried to add my middle initial behind my
name and in the initials section & ever since then the program quits on me in
less than 5 minutes... please help.

I'm afraid I see absolutely no correlation between the Subject of your post
& the Message content.

Also, it's almost impossible that editing the User Name would cause the
program to crash. There is more likely some other reason, but since you
don't disclose what version & update of Office, what version & update of the
Operating System or any other pertinent details there's no way to even
speculate as to what that problem might be.
