number of projects in project center

is there a way to add a count in project center? so if I
have 10 projects... a bar on the left hand side will show
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10... and so on?

Just like you would seee in excel? or at least something
similar?

Joe,

An approach you might consider is to insert an enterprise project number
field into a project center view. Set this number field to 1 as a default
value.

When you apply any grouping with this field in the view, you will see that
in the group summary level a count of the number of plans is effectively
counted. Obviously, this count will work for any type of grouping you apply
with this field in the view.

In general, roll ups in this manner work with number fields - using text
fields will not.
