I have one worksheet where there are 2 columns of numbers seperated by other
columns that I need to compare and find the matching and not matching
numbers. To verify these matches are correct for one of the columns of
numbers I need to use another worksheet in the workbook which contains a
numerical value in the same rows as a text value which serves to verify if
the number is correct.. Is there a function related to say error checking
which will do this or must I do it manually going from one worksheet to
another and row by row checking of the data?
It sort of looks Like this
1st Worksheet
q3User 2nd load Company Name City Users
53 Doggo Doogy.(194) St. Louis 53
2nd Worksheet
Company Name Abrev ABCity ID ID/City
Doggo Doogy.(194) Doggo DoggSt. Louis 194 194St. Louis
This would the first of many rows.
The numbers needed for comparison and matching would be the Q3User and the
Users number in the cell.
I'd use the "ID/City" field for verification purposes. On the far right of
the 1st Worksheet there is a column with just the city in it
I hope this will give you some idea of what I'm trying to make go faster.
There are formulas in the 2nd worksheet that create the ID/City combinations
in each cell of that column.
