number visio shapes

I want to number shapes on a number of pages.

On Page 1 I will number shapes 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, etc
On Page 2 I want to number shapes 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 etc.

When I bring up Tools Macros Vision Extras, Number Shapes, I cannot work out
how to number the shapes using the wizard. Any ideas please?

I have the same problem.

Seems you can't start with 2.1, 2.2... on page 2, why?

Perhaps you don't realise that you can type in whatever you want in the
preceding text - it doesn't have to be in the list?
