numbered list crashes Word

When I try to format a number in a list or insert a new number, Word 2003
crashes and closes.

Any ideas?

This may be because you have a partially corrupt printer driver or a
registry corruption.

Make sure that you have the latest driver for your printer and then delete
and reinstall the printer.

If the problem persists, open the registry editor and find:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\List Gallery Presets

Delete the Gallery Presets key.
