Numbered List Formatting Pain OL2003

Ive been researching this on the web with no luck, what I have is a client
with consistant issues in their environment with the formatting of a list in
their email. I have tried everything from plain text to creating emails in
Word. every time they test it, its the same result... odd formatting...

here are some examples..

users email text here

1. Item one
2. Item two
3. Item three

This is what it looks like when they type it out.. but after they send it
out, print it or even view it in their outbox it looks like the following...

users email text here

1.I tem one (or)
2.Item t wo continues like so (or)
3.
Item t hree has a combo of all the previous plus the extra <cr> in it

I've been dealing with weird things with products for over 10 years and this
one has me stumped... when I recieve the test emails from the users I can
view them fine and print them out fine....

I need another 100 pair of eyes to see this and offer any suggestions,
because I must be missing something..

Thanks,

Ben

We found ours to be the printer driver for our HP 4200n. From our print
server we were using the pcl5e driver. I downloaded this from HP and
installed it locally on my machine and had the same anomoly when printing
numbered lists. I then downloaded the pcl6 driver and switch the driver
being used on my machine to that and it worked fine. This also worked for my
user. It's worth a shot to see if it's happening on just that printer.
