Numbered List Style

I have created a numbered list style that is giving me fits. I apply i
to one list and it works fine. I apply it to the next and it continue
numbering from the previous list. So I go to Format>Bullets an
Numbering and go to List Numbering down at the bottom of the page. Th
Restart Numbering button is already checked but the selection is graye
out. So no dice there. I'm assuming that what I have here is
classic conflict in Word where there is some other setting that i
overriding the formatting options that I could normally apply throug
the Format menu, but what that may be, I have no idea. An

If this is Word 2002 or 2003, you should be able to right-click and choose
Restart Numbering. Otherwise, see
