Numbered Lists

I am trying to complete a list for paragraphs as follows:

1.1
1.1.1
1.1.2
1.2
1.2.1
1.2.2
1.3
1.3.1
1.3.2
1.4 etc up to
1.25

Numbering must start at 1.1, NOT 1 and go up to at least
1.20 if not higher!

We have found that if we enter the first few entries of
the list manually, sometimes Autocomplete may continue the
list for us but not up to 1.20 and beyond.

Can anyone help me, please - I would be grateful for any
comments ASAP
