Numbering a list over 99 in word 2007

I'm trying to make a list but when I go from 99 to 100 the spacing gets all
messed up and the 100th item isn't lined up with the 99th item. It sort of
looks like this:

99. Hi
100. Hi

If i hit the backspace even once the number is deleted. How do I get rid of
that space?

Oops! Sorry but for some reason my example didn't work like I wanted it to.
Let me try it again:

99. Hi


100. hi

 

[Drew]

It still didn't work. Just imagine a space between 100. and the word hi
