I have a document with multiple chapters, each of which has multiple figures. I'm trying to create a style that will allow me to format my figure captions as follows:

Figure 1.1. This is the first caption of my first figure in Chapter 1
Figure 1.2. This is...
....
Figure 2.1. This is the first caption of my first figure in Chapter 2
Figure 2.2.
....
"
I can't figure out how to get the first number after "Figure" to change. When I try to customize the numbering, I set Level 1 to start numbering from "1". I tried linking the level to the style that sets my chapter number, but that doesn't seem to be working. Any suggestions?
