Numbering in a sentence

C

Clarke

I have a client that types numbers in a sentence,
generally at the end, and after the number is a full
stop. The next sentence is not capped automatically.
eg
"Welcome to Studio 54. how can we help you."
What they want to happen is the following.
"Welcome to Studio 54. How can we help you."
Basically the Auto Caps for the first word in the new
sentence is not working when you follow a number that ends
a sentence.
Does anyone now of a way to allow this to happen.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Word 2000 SR3.

I don't know the answer, but just seeing "Studio 54" in print gave me
a shot of energy....

Known issue. This behavior changed between Word 95 and 97, I think,
presumably at the request of users who don't always want capitalization in
numbered lists. The developers got carried away and applied it to all
numbers. In such situations, the standard reply is that there are two Shift
keys on every keyboard. <g> Sorry.
