C
Confused
I'm putting together a long document, and trying to
break it down into seperate chapter files. I've done this
mostly ok, using the {INCLUDETEXT } feature to bring the
files into one document for printing and making a TOC and
indexs.
My problems comes when cross-referencing to figure
labels. I'm using the combined chapter-number format, so
I'm expecting things like:
Figure 4-2
In the sub-document, it would appear as 1-2, because the
heading number is at 1 (as there are no other heading1
titles in the separate subdocuments)
When I bring it into the main document though, it stays
as Figure 1-2 in the reference, althought the caption
itself and the table of figures both recognize it should
be Figure 4-2.
Does anyone know how to fix this?!
