We meticulously set up the numbering headings per this ng's op.cit.
Now we have other documents that we want to apply these styles. Moving
them into the document or attaching the new dot doesn't do much for
existing text.
How can we conveniently apply new styles to an existing document?
If we reset, word always want to rewrite the existing style rather than
change the text format. This usually will cause an accidental writing
over of the good style.
By reset I mean to click in the style setting and click on the same
style. This brings up the popup alert asking if it was intended to
redefine the style (or optionally to select to reformat the text)
It would be nice to know if there is a way to immediately reformat, and
a second way to redefine the style if that is the need.
