numbering pages

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Power PC My daughter has to number her project 1 of 20 etc and although I know how to number pages I don't know how to put the "of 20" bit in. Can anyone help please.

Simplest way for a basic document (instead of Insert> Page Numbers):

Use Insert> AutoText> Header/Footer - Page X of Y

Many thanks for replying. That is a lot easier. Is there a simple way of making it happen through the whole document or will she have to do it on each page

If the page numbers are inserted into the legitimate Header or Footer they
will automatically occur on every page... the exception being if/how Section
Breaks have been used. If Section Breaks are involved, though, it's no
longer considered a "simple" document.
