I've read all the posts relating to page numbering in alternated
portrait/landscape pages, the only problem I haven't been able to solve is the
position of said page number. Portrait pages are OK - bottom right, in
landscape pages the position is also bottom right in the landscape
orientation, but top right facing left(or sideways), it breaks the uniform
look of the thesis. The tables are to wide to change them to portrait. Is
there a way to change or get around this without complicating even more an
already complicated format? A related problem, though easily corrected by
hand if you flip the page, is that the "top" heading of the table prints on
the right hand margin, the bottom facing the binding edge so that you have to
turn the book counterclockwise instead of clockwise - it's very akward.
Finally, the roman numerals in the first pages before chapter 1 appear just
fine in the ToC but not so in the document - any comments?
