Numbering system messed up

I am working on a network. Someone reworked the different
default Outline Numbering groups. There are things like:
1...1 rather than 1.1, there is a list that starts with 8,
instead of 1. I can correct these individually, but I
would like to go back to the factory settings. Is there a
way?

Pat,

If you're referring to the list gallery that you see when you go to
Format>Bullets and Numbering, just click a position in the gallery and then
click the Reset button. Repeat for all positions you want to reset.
