I need to know if there is any way, when you have a Word
document open, and you go into "Insert", "Field", click
on "Numbering" at the left, and NOW then, over in the
right box, there are different ways to do numbering, i.e.
AutoNum, AutoNumLegal, AutoNumOut, ListNum, Seq, etc. I
need to know if there is any way possible by using one of
these if I can tell it WHERE to start the numbering. All
of them seem to want to start at the number one (1). And,
I can't see in the "Options" of any of them, where I can
tell it what number I want it to start at, i.e. not a one
(1), but number 350 perhaps, so that every number I do
AFTER that follows in order, i.e. 351, 352 and so on. The
ListNum feature in the right window MAY be able to but I
don't understand the "switches" and things like that. If
you go into ListNum, click on "Options", the Field
Specific Switches tab has a \s and when you click on
that, down in the bottom half of that window, it tells
you you can tell it the "start-at value". But, that's
as far as I can go. I don't know how to "use" this
feature.
Please help !
P.S. I can't get into it right now, but I can't use
the "Bullets and Numbering" function for certain reasons.
