Numbers format

I am with a huge problem! All the time that I select a certain cell and I
want to change the numbers on that to the format currency or even number that
the . separate, it automatically multiply by 1000. Does anybody know how I
can change it?

Is this occurring with just a certain cell or all cells when you try and
change the currency or number format?

If this is only specific cells, what way are they formatted and do you have
your OS set as a different language to US?
