Numeric Fractions in Word 2001

Tom

Can numeric fractions (i.e., 1/2) be typed or plcaced into a word text
document other than numeral, slash, numeral?
I'm using Office 2001 in the "Classic" mode of OSX.2.8.

Hi Tom,

There are several ways to approach this. Many fonts include fractions that
you can use. You can get at them using utilities like KeyCaps and PopChar or
use Word's Insert Symbol feature.

Another way is to use Equation Editor from Word's menu Insert > Object >
Microsoft Equation.

PopChar!! Yes. Thank you Jim. I haven't used it in years, I forgot all
about it. I lost it through upgrades a long time ago. Thanks again,
Tom
