Numerical Order

I have a report that pulls from a query. On the query, I have a field -Line
Item that is pulling from the Order Detail Info. I have marked this
ascending and also descending; however, on my report, it lists the
information in random order, not 1, 2, 3, 4, but 1, 3, 2, 4. How do I
correct this?

Check the report's sorting and grouping options (=right-click the section
heading).

In the rports design view go to Sortings and Groupings... select the field
you want to sort on and choose ascending or descending..
