O2K7 tech update2 prevents me from opening ALL Docs%2C why%3F

Running Beta O2K7 and just installed the latest technical upgrade for it.
Now, NONE of my spreadsheets, Docs, PPT's, that were from 2003, open up.
Does anyone know the fix, or how to uninstall the upgrade and leave O2K7 the
way it was? The upgrade is NOT listed in ADD and Remove Programs, and I have
tried running it, and the detect/repair for the individual programs to no
avail.

If you're using Norton Antivirus see if turning off the 'Office Plugin' in the Norton settings miscellaneous tab helps.
