Through Pervasive ODBC driver I can link or import data from Exchequer
Eneterprise tables. I am importing stock items and sales transactions :
descriptions & dates are fine, coming in as a Text field (eg 20060124) cost
prices and selling prices seem just garbage. The Property of these numeric
fields defaults to Long Integer or Byte, so I am assuming that any data which
uses decimal places is being discarded or mangled. I tried to create a new
tab e with the same structure, amending the property of the Number field to
"Double" and appended the records from Exchequer with no success. Any ideas
or add-ins you are aware of?
