Object Fill - Texture Scale Automatically Resized!

Ok, I am using Excel 2007 to draw some simple diagrams and I wanted to
include some areas with textured fills. I have drawn the textures in paint
and saved them as pitcure files. I then go into Excel 2007 and draw some
shapes where I want the textured areas to be. I click format autoshape then
fill then add texture from file. Then I choose to tile the picture as texture
and select the scale that makes the texture show up correctly in my diagram.
Everything looks great until I save the file and then the scale gets
automatically adjusted and appears much smaller on the screen. However, if I
go back to the format autochape, the scale I picked is still in there. I can
get it to appear correctly by re-adding the picture as textre and re-entering
the scale. However, this lasts only until I save the file again. Is there
some reason why Excel seems to be automatically adjusting my texture scale?
Any help you can offer would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
