Object variable or block variable not set

I'm trying to create a new report in access but keep getting the message
object variable or block variable not set, I've tried using a table as the
source data, then also tried a query that relates back to the original table
- but no luck ... any ideas?

Does the query produce the proper data results?

No I'm getting the same message and am blocked from going any further with
creation of the report :-(

Ok, save what you have with a different name.
Start deleting field from the query until it works. Start new and delete
the last field only and see if it works.

OR start with only a few fields, no calculation or functions and build it
little by little, testing after adding each component.

Build a little, test a little.
