We regularly want to insert long Excel files into a Word document. (This
happens when inserting a construction contract bid schedule into a MS Word
specification document). It gets inserted as an Object, which won't break
across pages, which means in effect we can't do it, since the bid schedules
are usually longer than a page. So we end up piecing the document together
with a hard copy prototype and then reproducing that. Hardly what you'd call
office productivity.
How about providing for breaking objects across pages to permit this rather
basic-seeming task?
