Objects, Macros & TabSheets?

Ken

Excel 2000 ... I know this is a duplicate post. However,
reply from "Applications Board" indicated this ? would be
more appropriate on this board ... Sorry.

I have a WorkBook with a single TabSheet ... TabSheet
contains an "object" which I position using recorded
Macros (Macro defines object as "Line 7"). Everything
works fine.

My goal was to create 4 more identical TabSheets in same
WorkBook (one for each Qtr) & I did this using the copy
TabSheet same WorkBook.

Issue is ... on the copied TabSheets the Macro doesn't
recognize the "object" as the same "Line number" (Line 7)
as it did on my original TabSheet. Consequently, the
Macros fail & I can't position the object???

For the h-ll of it ... I recorded another Macro which
selected & moved the object in each of the 4 new
TabSheets. For each of the new TabSheets (2,3,4,5) the
Macro identified the object as Line 4.

Above said ... How is it that copying TabSheet1 changes
object from Line 7 to Line 4 ... but copying TabSheet2 to
TabSheets3,4,5 the object holds at Line 4??? This is
killing me ... :(

To those of you that are intimate with Excel ... What
gives?

My Thanks to all that support these boards ... Kha
