Obtain Current Cell Address

Does anyone know how to obtain the active cell address so
I can use it as a reference in a formula?

Basically I want to use the offset formula, but for the
first argument I don't want to manually enter the active
cell.

Offset uses a reference not a cell address, which is a string.

Inputting a cell seems a small overhead, what exactly is the problem?
