I am running Access 2003 on an XP plat form, I installed SP2. My ODBC
connections and queries ran fine previously. Now I am getting "ODBC
Call-Failed," error when I try to view the table or run a select query. But
if I take the query and change it to a "Make Table Query," it still works
fine no error.
Things I have tried to fix this issue
Tried running it on another system
Tried building a new database from scratch
Tried Repair and rebuild
Uninstalled SP2
Checked for updates on the office site.
Down loaded and attempted to install the latest MADC but it is already
installed.
rebuilding the ODBC source connection
I obtain the same error and it doesnt make since because of being able to
run the make table query. It is like it is letting me take a picture and
take it home. But it will not just let me take the picture and throw it away
after I am done viewing it. Any one have any suggestions? I am totally lost
on this one.
