ODBC - Call failed

I am getting an ODBC-Call Failed error running a report
based on a query from SQL Server 7.0 tables. I can run
the query fine and it only takes maybe 5 seconds, but when
I run the report I get the ODBC error. There is no heavy
calculations or anything like that, but I am stumped. Has
anyone seen this before?
