A few years ago I created an Access database that required an ODBC connection
to another database. I had my Access database on the server and had 10
different people access it at the same time by clicking the shortcut on their
desktop. I never had a problem.
In my new life...I tried to duplicate this but I keep getting an ODBC call
failure. For example, I set it up and it works fine for me but when someone
else tries to run a query they get an ODBC Call failure. After I refresh the
linked tables they can now use the database but if I go back to my desk, I
now get the call failure. I just can't get this to work for mutiple users.
Does anyone know why this is happening and what I need to do to get it to
work?
Thanks,
Sean
