I have been using Access 2000 as a Data Warehouse for the
last couple of years without to many issues.
I do know that there is a maximum size limit of 2 gig for
the MDB file.
My problem is that we have just upgraded our database
server from Pervasive version 7.9x to version 8.0. I know
that the data warehouse was able to read all files before
the upgrade but it cannot read 1 specific file now. It
can read the rest, though.
I have opened a blank database to test in. Created a new
ODBC connection. Linked the suspect table and I get the
error "ODBC-Connection Failed". This file has a file size
of 780 meg, well under the 2 gig limit. However, there
are 1,152,014 records. Is there a limit on the number of
record that Access can hold?
