When I try to link to a 4D database from Access 2003 via System ODBC, I can get all of the tables shown in a list box to connect to one or all. If I select one of the tables to link to, I get the following message: "Invalid arguments.".
If instead I try to do an import to the same database via ODBC, I get the following message:
ODBC--call failed.
[Simba][Simba ODBC Driver][Codebase File Library] (#-10021) [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnect Attr failed IM006 0 [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed (#0)
The irony is that I use the same ODBC connector to the same database with Excel. I have no trouble retrieving records from the database into Excel.
What is it about Access that makes this connection not work?
