ODBC Connectivity- Password logon has changed

I have created an access database which I have used to
connect to Visual Manafacturing ERP software. The database
for Visual requires that you sign onto the dtatabase and
key in a password. Recently this logon on screen has
mysteriously disapeared and when you pull up the linked
file access allows you to go straigt into the file. I have
two copies of the database and use this logon to determine
which database I am accessing. Does anyone know why the
logon could have changed and do you have any ideas
regarding how to fix this.

Lois,
Most people complain of the exact opposite thing!
"How do I get rid of that log-on?"

The linked tables can embed the password if you check it off during the
linking process.
Delete and re-create all links and don't check it.
