ODBC Connectivity

I am working on an internet based program which has a link that allows me to open an Access database file. The tables in the file are linked to another database that is DB2 based.
I can not open the linked table but i can go into the design view of the table. I have checked the ODBC drivers but apperantly something is not connecting. When I try to open the table in Access i get a -7711 error.
