ODBC Drivers & Excel

W

Wade Williams

I've read the technote on using ODBC with Excel for OS X at:

http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/excelx/using.aspx?pid=usingexcelx&
type=howto&article=/mac/LIBRARY/feature_articles/officex/xl_ODBC.xml

However, the article seems to infer that other drivers can be used. So
far, the OpenLink driver is the only one that seems to be recognized.

Does anyone know if other drivers can be used, or is Query on OS X
hardcoded to look only for the OpenLink driver? If not, how do I get
it to see other drivers?

Thanks,

Wade

Hi Wade,

I could be wrong, but I think at this time that OpenLink drivers are the
only ones supported. If you would like to see broader support for ODBC
drivers please send a request to Microsoft at this URL:
