I recently upgraded my Office installation to 2003. Installed the Jet SP8.
In addition to the usual annoying messages regarding macros, during the
installation (and reinstallations) I get an error message 1919 regarding
missing ODBC drivers in the registry. Must be something to do with an older
installation (Access 97) I assume. Unfortunately, too, I cannot adjust the
security level settings because there are none available under Macro
Security or anywhere else that I can find.
I kept my original Access 2002 installation (and there is an Access 97
installation) on this desktop. Wondering if that does something peculiar to
the configuration. I did change the default installation parameters to
install in Microsoft Office 2003 folder rather than the usual Microsoft
Office folder (I found that with installations of different versions this
worked best and maintained both or more versions)
Thanks for any help
