ODBC Error Connecting to Project Server

Hi,

I'm having problems connecting to Project Server from Project Pro 2003. I
have created the project server account, and tested the URL ok, but when I
try to log in, I get:

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]
SQLState: 'S1T00'
SQL Server Error 0
.... Timeout expired

If I dismiss the error message I get a SQL server login dialog prompting for
the user name and password of the MSProjectUser account, but even when I
enter the password, it still comes up with the same message.

This is on a Win XP SP2 machine logging in with a user account who is member
of "Users" domain group. Does the user need extra permissions to log in?

Just in case anyone else has this issue, it was due to the SQL client
configuration settings - had to enable TCP/IP create an alias for the SQL
Server.
