ODBC Error

Does anyone have any ideas for how to resolve the error:

ODBC--call failed.
[Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-01013: user requested cancel of
current operation (#10103)

The error happens when I try to query an Oracle table
(ver 8.1) that is linked via ODBC to Access. All help is
appreciated.
