I have been exporting contact information from Outlook
2000 to an Excel file in order to correct data and then
import the corrected data.
All was working fine until my 5th or 6th pass when I start
getting:
"An ODBC error has occurred in the Microsoft Excel
translator while trying to write a record to the results
file.
[Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] Syntax error in INSERT INTO
statement"
I have done the "detect and repair" while in Outlook and
also while in Excel. I still receive the same message.
What is my fix?
Thanks,
Jim Elting
ps: I am going to have to be out of town for a week. If
someone has an answer for me, could you not only post it
here, but email to (e-mail address removed)?
