ODBC Long Varchar is truncated to 255 char

Hi

I have an ODBC DSN which contains two fields:

Name is Text
Comment is Rich Text

If I read the data into Excel 2002 everything is ok
(In other word: The ODBC driver is OK)

If I read the data into Access 2002 (or MSQuery) the
Comment field is truncated to 255 char.
Access DO set the Name as Text and the Comment as Memo.

The best info I can find is MS Knowledge Base 259893
