I have linked to tables via an ODBC datasource. The db
that I connect to is an Oracle DB. I am trying to automate
tasks but don't think it's possible. Whenever you open a
new instance of the Access db and perform anything a user
is prompted for the password for the ODBC
connection...When setting up the odbc data source it seems
you can only put in a default username...not a password
also. This prevents automation because if I want to run a
job at night or on weekends the job will hang up on the
login screen waiting for the user to put in the password.
Anyone know of a way around this?
Thanks,
