ODBC permissions error

I'm trying to link my Access database to Mapinfo, but after creating the Map
Catalog (setting up my data source), i get this error message:

"...ODBC error: ODBC RC=-1, ODBC SQL State=42000, DBMS RC=-1907,DBMS
Msg=[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]. You do not have necessary
permissions to use the MAPINFO_MAPCATALOG object. Have your system
administrator or the person who created this object establish the appr..."

My database is a user level secured database.
