odbc problem

Hi

I have am using filemaker as a db and visio 2002
as the user interface as we need a graphical representation for our users

I have installed the datadirect driver and have created a user dsn

I have been able to link the drawings in visio and am sure the database is
being accessed as the request for the username and password come up as the
records are being accesssed.

But when i attempt to select or update a record an error message occurs
"memory insufficient". I have been able to establish that this is not likely
to be the problem and this message ususally appears when an error occurs and
the originating code has been 'lost'

thank you in anticipation

I would suggest that for this type of problem your supplied information is
too limited to be of much help. How about operating system, processor type,
memory size, server configuration (local/remote), development
tools/languages, any significant error/event logs, what fix packages are
installed, who supplied the odbc driver. In short the environment you are
working in. As a debug mechanism (assumes you have ms access available) can
you attach to the "filemaker db" using Access?
