We have a department who tracks vacation time by using a calendar set up in a
Public Folder in MS Exchange. The supervisor, using Outlook 2000, has created
a shortcut to the Public Folder on their shortcut bar. If the supervisor
navigates to the Public Folder using the shortcut, there are four employees
displayed as being on vacation on a specific day. However, if the supervisor
navigates to the Public Folder using the Folder Tree, only two employees are
displayed as having vacation, and employees can only see two employees
displayed. The supervisor is the only person who can see all four employees
who've been granted vacation, and then only by navigating to the Public
Folder using the shortcut. Can anyone tell me why this behavior is occuring
and how to mitigate it?
