Odd Behavior

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me out because I have been unsuccessful
in my searches for a solution.

I have MS Project 2007 installed, and recently I lost the ability to
drag tasks around and the bar at the top where you could type in the
task name similar to the formula bar in Excel. I have tried
uninstalling and reinstalling Project. I have restarted my machine. I
have tried viewing all the different toolbars.

The biggest change to my system since this happened was the
installation of VS Team Foundation. However, other users in our group
with Team Foundation installed do not have this same problem.

Is there a global file somewhere that I should delete so Project will
reset to the defaults? Any other ideas on how to solve the problem?

I posted a screen capture here (http://picasaweb.google.com/

Thanks in advance,
Dana

Hi Dana,

Try Tools > Options, Edit tab. Is allow cell drag and drop enabled?
On Tools > Options, View tab, check that "Entry" bar is enabled.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Thank you Julie and Dave! I don't know if I would've ever found those
settings. Too many options and tabs to dig through. I even have my
scrolling back now.

I am glad the answer was so simple.
