odd behaviour after pasting image

Hi, I've done a search of the forum so I don't think I'm replicating any past posts!
I'm trying to make a document more interesting by putting relevant pictures into it at various points. I'm copying and pasting in the images from the internet.
Most of the time (but not 100%) after I have pasted the image in and changed its position slightly or resized it, the document just flicks back to viewing the first page. This is pretty annoying and time-consuming having to keep re-finding my place in the document, so I was hoping someone could help!
Hope I have described it enough.
Cheers

well, if you hit cmd-option-z, it should take you back to the last edit
point, where you inserted the image.

No clue about the actual cause or how to prevent the problem.

According to Bob's testing, this is a bug!

As Daiya said, cmd-option-z should bounce you back where you were.

Cheers
