Odd footer behavior - 2004 in OSX

Hi,

When I open footers - the text that displays when it is open is not the same
that appears on the page when the footer is closed. Tried changing, tried
connecting and unconnecting footers to previous. Same issue - an entirely
different word appears when closed and when open.

Anyone experience this? Any solutions??
