Odd hyperlink behaviour

I have a very large organisation chart in Visio (2003 Professional), which I want to publish on the web (using latest Internet Explorer). My web server is accessed via WebFolder.

Many shapes on my org charts have hyperlinks, and some of them have more than one hyperlink, and I am publishing the org charts in a web page [template].

The main Visio content gets automatically generated into a file called Main2.htm.

Here is what happens, and what my problem is:

- if I run the pages from my web server, and from the [template] page I host the charts in, I get a BLANK page if I click on any shape that has more than one hyperlink (I do not get a chance to select the hyperlink I want to see). Hyperlinks for shapes with just one hyperlink behave fine - i.e. I click on them and get to the expected page (note: some of the linked pages are Visio-based pages, some are just other URLs, nothing to do with Visio at all).

- if I do the self-same thing on my virtual local drive [i.e. the webfolder mirror of what's on the server], everything works absolutely perfect - i.e. where I have multiple hyperlinks against a shape, I get to select which one I want to see, and this then gets displayed as expected.

- if I run main2.htm (i.e. the 'raw Visio content' of what is published in my web page template) on the web server, ALL the hyperlinks do work as I would expect them to work (same also works fine if I run main2.htm from my webfolder virtual mirror drive)

Hope I have explained this sufficiently for someone to give me a hint / solution before this odd behaviour drives me completely crazy.

Thanks!

Rose
PS. I am not a programmer / web developer etc so please be gentle on me with any techno-whizzo-explanations / suggestions! [Oh, and I am also a blonde!]
